hi, i´ve been working all morning and my drawing closed down, and can´t find it nor the .bak, it seams it vanished. Where do .bak drawings go? I´ve been saving and automatic saving but could it be it never saved? I tools, options it says the bak saves as a .sV$ extension but when i search .sV$ files, none appear. I´ve lost all? Does anyone now how to recover this?

The sv$ files should be located in your profile folder within Windows. Should be under appdata, roaming I believe. They may be marked as hidden so if you have not enabled viewing of hidden files within Windows you would not see it on search unless you enabled it in searching.

Try looking in your Temp folder. Click on Start -> then Run and enter %temp% and hit Enter.

Failing that, have you checked the actual drawing folder?

Lastly, you could try downloading Recuva and putting it on a USB stick and running it from there. It undeletes files.
