Hello,

ZWCAD 2009i Beta is available now, with significant improvements in aspects like stability, performance, especially the plot function and (at last!) the layout feature.

I just tried this patch and it look very good, the layout feature is the best improvement I found on it.

ZwCAD said the official version is scheduled to be released on July 30 (tentative). In order to assure the quality of the official version.

If anybody want to install the patch or the complete beta version, following are download links of ZWCAD2009i Beta (vernum=2009.07.08(10843)):

For English version
1) Standard version and Professional version are included in the same package: http://download.zwcad.com/en/09exeInstaller/2009i2/ZWCAD2009iEng.exe

Hi, let me add some testing experience:

I patched my existing ZwCAD 2009 Pro installation and it worked fine.

If you had a problem with the Undo not working, it is solved now! This had to do with the execution of any Autolisp-routine, which disabled the undo completely.

We tested 2 of our most important VBA-routines (one for quantities and one for scripting multiple drawings, like Autodesk's ScriptPro). They both worked fine.

One bug is still there: make a block with an attribute and place it. The attribute position cannot be changed because there are no grips! Only the block's insertion point has a grip. The old blocks made with a previous version do have editable grips on their attributes. Not a problem for everyone, but indeed a strange thing!

We choose for ZwCAD end of 2006 and quit dealering AutoCAD. Now we are exclusive distributors for The Netherlands, which makes us very dedicates. We are really happy with ZwCAD and feel to be betting on the right horse.

Please join us and start using ZwCAD en let's make it even better!

Best regards,
Siem

Hello Siem, glad to meet you again now here,

I think the only feature ZwCAD is missing still is to hide 3dfaces on plot, only solids and region can be hidden on print function, what do you think about it?

Regards,
William
