I've had the same problems with paper space vanishing sometimes. I notified support about it and a few other issues. They are working on resolving some problems, and hopefully they will have it fixed in the next upgrade.
How is your version of intelliCAD working for you in the world of Architecture? I use progeCAD Pro 2008 in my home drafting services business(arrowcaddesign.com). It has done well so far. I do miss the autolisp/visual lisp in AutoCAD though.
